Diploma project on design as a carrier bag practice.
What if humankind’s first tool was not the spear, but the carrier bag?

Following on from Ursula K. Le Guin’s essay, I applied the carrier bag theory to design in the sense of carrier bag practice. The result is an interdisciplinary exhibition of projects, texts and artistic explorations of bags, the act of collecting, holding and keeping and feminist utopias. The exhibition is accompanied and supplemented by a modular publication, the contents of which can be collected and compiled individually on site.
